I THINK THIS IS WHY I LOVE ART...because in this little world of creating, there really are no rules. What a beautiful place it is that no rules need to apply. In fact it is a perfect world. One of freedom and expression. One of equality and beauty. One of planning or spontinaity. No right...No wrong. Everything is as it is supposed to be. Even "mistakes" are positive and wealthy tools. I wish we could all live here in this world of Art, always...

Just had a nice evening with my girl Paytee Poo. Shopping, dinner, dessert- it was fun.

ETSY-2nd week

Well, the Etsy sales hit hard, but seemed to have slowed down to a stop. I hope it's not already over. I'm nervous. I guess I really dont know what to expect, and my friends are all so sweet. I'm happy, just nervous I guess.

QUIET OF THE MORNING

Ahhhhhhh...I love getting up in the quiet of the morning, before the kids are awake, and after Ron has gone to work. I love the peacefulness (well, the peacefulness when Cooper isn't telling me it's time to give him a treat!). I love the slowness and silence of time and the soft chirpings of birds waking up and starting their day. I'm sitting here now, just cherishing it all, because I know it is so temporary...

WORKING ON ALICE

I need to get back to working on my Alice in Wonderland piece to submit to the magazine!

LEARNING AS I GO

Today I will take my flash drive, loaded with photos of my work, and experiment with getting the best print. I have hopes that today will be successful! I'm finding it so hard to fall asleep at night, and I'm even dreaming about it all-I think I've forgotten how to breathe correctly! I ordered business cards and stationary yesterday-check. Bought a small amount of mailing envelopes-check. Organized my photo files on my computer-check. I think I will make a computer folder with buyers info, just to keep in my records. Yep, that will be another goal for today. I'm really learning as I go, which keeps this very interesting! I should work on a piece of art today too, that will calm me down :)

MY SLEEPING BRAIN

A wonderful feeling

If I didn't have art as a way to express myself, I think I would probably go crazy. Creating things has always been a theraputic activity for me. I can get so lost in my work and yet so focused at the same time. It's a wonderful feeling.
