- Hi, my name is Kelly. I'm a mother, daughter, sister, friend, artist, goof ball, just trying to live a happy life and leave a little love in the world before I go. I grew up in So. California. I was always drawing or painting or creating something when I was a kid. Making art has always brought me peace. I think I would go crazy if I didn't keep creating! I'm officially an empty nester now, so I decided it was time to take my art out into the world! Yikes! I'm very excited to see what my future holds! We'll see! ReplyDeleteReally involved, the painting says a lot and looks like a lifting spirit to me or symbolic of one. I have been following and watching the layers develop. I see you in the publications, Hope these get published as an idea of the many ways and moods of a mixed media artist.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Kelly...there is a wonderful zoo here in Wichita, Kansas where the first thing you see inside the entrance is a pond FULL of giant gold fish. They look like golden catfish really. Your painting reminds me of this wonderful pond at our zoo where I have taken my own boys many times as they grew up and here recently, my own grandson. Sigh. How time flies.
