Hi, my name is Kelly. I'm a mother, daughter, sister, friend, artist, goof ball, just trying to live a happy life and leave a little love in the world before I go.
I grew up in So. California. I was always drawing or painting or creating something when I was a kid. Making art has always brought me peace. I think I would go crazy if I didn't keep creating! I'm officially an empty nester now, so I decided it was time to take my art out into the world! Yikes! I'm very excited to see what my future holds! We'll see!
To check out my portfolio, please go to my website www.kellylish.com.
My art is mainly paintings with acrylics, but sometimes I'll add in... ink, pastels, collage and wax.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my blog...I hope you enjoyed your visit !
I'm wishing you happiness and peace, right here from my home sweet home in Studio City, CA.
Love, Kelly
Kelly she is just beautiful. I really love the layers and the textures and I especially love the Koi. I've wanted to do a geisha piece myself for a while. Thank you for the inspiration.
So beautiful Kelly. You took me back to Kyoto, to a lovely little bridge in the back streets where I watched with amazement as the most gorgeous geisha I had ever seen came tripping along. The memory is very modern though, as she had her Ipod attached to those beautiful ears. I love the variety that you are achieving with your wonderful art.
Hello!! I have just discovered your blog and instantly fell in love! I love your style and especially this piece, it calls to my asian heritage. I would love to learn how to do what you do, if you ever offer a class I would love to take it and learn to do the collaging/painting/drawing amazingness you do! I don't know how to do that. I have also added your button to my page because I think you are just that fantastic! :)
I commented earlier on this image and I still love it so much! Are you going to sell it or prints of it, I think it is just awesome and really want it for my apartment :-D
Beautiful!!!Love her:O)

ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! Love the colors! I have not seen many collage artists do their work on a 16 x 20, I'll bet it's stunning in person.
