Sometimes....

Sometimes I wonder if I am too naive for this world.  I WANT to think the best of people.  I WANT to believe that people have good hearts.  I WANT to believe that we all just want to be loved and be happy.  Sometimes I wonder if I am missing some sort of defense mechanism.  Do I look at life too simply?  KINDESS MATTERS...is that stupid to believe?  It makes me so sad to think that I might be wrong in the way I look at things.  I hope I'm not wrong.

  1. as long as you are not naive when it comes to balancing your bank book or paying bills or making sure you eat properly... toast yourself with a glass of something you like and say "here's to me"... "I'm okay and I like me" and if anybody else doesn't like it... tough shit.

  2. Hmmmm...I'm not sure what happened, but kindness always matters! It's about YOUR intention, not the intention of other people. Sometimes...it doesn't turn out the way you think, but kindness still matters. :-)

i love you exactly the way you are.

my only thought is this....maybe don't put on others expectations you have of you. does that make sense??? i was reading some of the comments to my question about that and this is what came to me. i am terrible about it so when i put it out there to you...i am saying it to me too. i think it will help both of us!!!

you are one of my most favorite people....don't go changing babe!!!!

  5. You are not naive, the rest of the world is mislead. You are living life the way it's meant to be lived. Unfortunately, you're right, most people aren't on the same page. Us "loving" types tend to get wounded because we are always honest, and put our real selves out there, and because of that maybe we do get taken advantage of. I've had to learn to not share soooo...much, but still be honest and loving. I think in the long run people will look at us and our joy and contentment and wish they had some of that "truth". Don't change:)
