Hi, my name is Kelly. I'm a mother, daughter, sister, friend, artist, goof ball, just trying to live a happy life and leave a little love in the world before I go.
I grew up in So. California. I was always drawing or painting or creating something when I was a kid. Making art has always brought me peace. I think I would go crazy if I didn't keep creating! I'm officially an empty nester now, so I decided it was time to take my art out into the world! Yikes! I'm very excited to see what my future holds! We'll see!
To check out my portfolio, please go to my website www.kellylish.com.
My art is mainly paintings with acrylics, but sometimes I'll add in... ink, pastels, collage and wax.
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by my blog...I hope you enjoyed your visit !
I'm wishing you happiness and peace, right here from my home sweet home in Studio City, CA.
Love, Kelly
Kelly I just read your comments to me. I didn't publish one as I don't know if it is private or not. Let me know if you want it published.
I want to tell you that must have been so scary. Kelly losing your hearing is hard; I still have my hearing but I have had 4 ear surgeries and have to have two hearing aids, I only have one because they are so expensive.
I just am happy that you are well know. I will have a cupcake this weekend, that you can be sure of.
Congratulations on your two year mark! That's wonderful.
I was reading through your blog and saw you've just had a child go off to college! Oy. I so remember that time and how hard it was.
So lucky we have Skype now and our kids are so techologically wise. Maybe buy him a camera for his computer (or for yours--they're cheap) and check in with him once a week by video so you can see him.(Warning: tell him not to point it at his dorm room. :p)) It's free and it will really help. My daughter just moved a couple of thousand miles away with our new (first) grand baby. (sniff) But we Skype. Love it.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and for following me. Be well. Barbara
Kelly you and I would have a good laugh. I cannot hear anything from behind me and most people know that but they still talk to me from behind and wonder why I keep walking away.
Then they touch me and say I was talking to you and I look at them like 'so........, what do you want.' Sometimes it is so irritating.
Oh wow! God bless you and enjoy that cupcake!!!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Carrie
Kelly I love your newest painting, it is stunning.
ReplyDeleteBut what I need to hear was brain surgery and that it is two years after the fact and look at your paintings and you must be doing so well.
Oh dear friend, I am glad that you are here.
Love Renee xoxo
